Meticulous. Aesthetic. Joyful.

Event Planning & Design Services

Each of us will live through more monotonous moments than we can count. Which means the extraordinary moments — the marriages and the milestones alike — deserve to be celebrated.

So let’s celebrate. With an experience so meticulous, it feels effortless. In an aesthetic so immersive, it will feel natural to you. With such joy, the memories will fill your head for a lifetime.

My daughter’s wedding from start to finish was a grand stellar event because of this man. He is an artist and has a vision of design for weddings which permeated in all aspects.

Design & Planning Services

Full-Service Planning

A bespoke, comprehensive event or wedding planning experience for the art-loving client with a unique perspective, an overwhelming to-do list, and a trust of the experts who they hire. We’ll meet biweekly to discuss every minute detail of your event day or wedding weekend. Building a fully-formed relationship with my clients is the essence of producing a high caliber event that exceeds your expectations.

Event Management and Design

A partial event planning service for detail-oriented clients who admire artful event design. I’ll create a design aesthetic to match the logistics you’ve already planned, curate the design vendors, and produce the event so you can enjoy it as a guest.

Event Management

An event coordination service for savvy clients who have orchestrated their event themselves, and want to entrust a professional with the final execution. I will confirm the fine details, manage vendors, and produce your perfect event.

The Full-Service Planning Process

  1. Vendors & Venue — Once we’ve determined overall numbers for your guest list and budget, I’ll source the best event professionals in the area. Every person, down to the sommelier, is an essential part of your vendor team, so I select each one with great care.

  2. Design — Your extensive design proposal is the center of your JCE&D experience, and takes several months to create. Immersive design renderings are the hallmark of these presentations; you won’t be asked to envision your final event because you’ll be able to see every aesthetic detail in place.

  3. Management — My team and I may have confirmed every detail in advance, but we’ll continue to obsess over each one until the last guest departs your event. We’ll guide you through the day so that you can enjoy playing host. Taking care of you and your guests is what we live for!

His creativity, professionalism, organizational skills, and willingness to do whatever it took were indispensable in making our dream wedding of 250 guests a reality. I have worked on numerous, large-scale fundraising events with a number of professional event planners. John sits at the top of the list of people I would recommend and rely upon.

About John Campbell

(he/him)

I never planned on working in hospitality, but it’s no surprise that I ended up here.

I learned how to host from my mother, who learned it from her mother, who learned it from her father, an immigrant who worked his way up into a management position at New York City’s Plaza Hotel before opening a restaurant on Long Island.

While I’m glad to have my family’s curly hair, I’m most proud of inheriting the family art for hospitality and the perspective that people are precious, so events are sacred.

Is This What You’re Wondering?

  • Weddings are my first love, but I also plan and design experience-focused private parties and corporate events. My only “rule” is that each event be completely unique; I relish the challenge that comes with planning unexpected, over-the-top corporate retreats for 10 or 30-person birthday parties with Michelin star-worthy tasting menus just as much as I enjoy orchestrating artful wedding weekends for 250.

  • Each client receives my full attention, which is why I only accept roughly eight events per year. Please reach out early in your planning process to ensure you’re one of the eight.

  • I take my role as your event planner and designer very seriously, and personally orchestrate each event myself. On your event day(s), you’ll notice a select team of assistants helping me “be in two places at once” and bring your vision to life.

  • Absolutely. As a queer person myself, I know how hard it can be to find an accepting and affirming wedding planner in Florida. You’ll experience nothing but love from my entire team, including the vendors that I partner with.

  • Yes, please! Though I’m based in Tampa, Florida, I love to work on destination events. I’m especially fond of U.S. locations like Chicago, New York City, and Napa, and Italian cities like Florence, Ravenna, and Sorrento.

We’re Kindred Spirits

I hate to be presumptuous, but if you favor style over trends, Architectural Digest over Pinterest, experiences over material things, and connection over acquaintance, I have a feeling we’re going to work well together. I’m eager to meet you.
